Caribbean’s most prestigious sailing event
What began in 2009 as an exclusive new event on the island of Saint Barth has quickly grown into Caribbean’s most prestigious sailing event and one of the world’s finest regattas.
In the world of high-performance sailing, Les Régates de Saint Barth is a class apart. With its extraordinary sailing conditions and perfect weather combined with the Caribbean’s deep blue water and festive island atmosphere, the annual event has become a must-stop on the international racing scene.
This year´s edition of Les Voiles de Saint Barth was held on the 13th till the 18th of April. In April the conditions around Saint Barth are ideal for competitive racing. The trade wind, ranging from 17 to 32 knots, will challenge even the most experienced crews.
The ocean around the island offers excellent possibilities to set- up various types of courses; short coastal runs, Olympic type courses and even an around the island race. In 2016 the race will take place from April 11th – 16th.
