In Genoa, Lomac enchanted both the public and the jury of the Design Innovation Award 2021.
The Milanese shipyard wins the first prize in the category “pneumatic units” with the new GranTurismo 11.0 Cruiser, which, together with the 12.5 Cruiser, makes its debut in Italy on the occasion of the sixty-first edition of the Genoa Boat Show.
The Design Innovation Award, in its second edition, has the declared objective of promoting the excellence of production in the nautical sector, which stands out every year for research, innovation, formal and technical quality, and sustainability.
The brand new Lomac GranTurismo 11.0 Cruiser, winner of the prize in the category “pneumatic units”, was created to combine high performance and sportiness with the habitability of a generous cabin – equipped with a large bathroom and capacious storage areas – for those who navigate medium-range daily, but also wish to spend a few nights in the harbor.
The judges of the Prize wanted to reward the new model: “for the continuity in the design development that allowed the integration of new interior spaces without altering the characteristics of the external lines”.
Receiving the award, cousins Paolo and Fabrizio Lo Manto, at the helm of the yard, commented:
“We are delighted to receive this award, which is the fruit of the commitment of a great team that has never stopped working. Lomac has always been synonymous with research and innovation to offer our customers a high-quality product and unparalleled performance “.
Lomac is at the Genoa Boat Show from September 16th to 21st at stand BA178, on Quay A.
