CMC Marine is attending America’s largest and most important boat show from October 26 to 30, where it is exhibiting the STAB  fin stabilizer in the Waveless line, designed for smaller yachts with low energy consumption both at anchor and under way, together with a stabilizer from the Stabilis Electra line. FLIBS represents the ideal opportunity for the Italian company, which pioneered the introduction of electrically operated stabilization systems, to tap into an increasingly lively and receptive market, by taking part in an event that each year attracts over 100 thousand visitors.

The largest boat show in the United States, with over 1,300 boats on display, is a must-attend event for CMC Marine, which is increasingly targeting this region of great interest for the boating industry worldwide, with 23 million egistered boats plus those under construction.

In Fort Lauderdale, where the company opened a branch office in 2018 (CMC Marine USA), the Italian brand is exhibiting two different stabilizing systems: a fin stabilizer from the Stabilis Electra line and one in the Waveless line, designed specifically for smaller boats, even though today CMC Marine’s electrically operated stabilization systems
cater to a very wide range of yacht types and sizes.

FLIBS attracts the industry’s leading international yards each year, and for CMC Marine this is the ideal opportunityto forge new agreements and add to the already long and varied list of companies choosing to work with the company that pioneered the introduction of electric actuation into the world of stabilization systems. The company currently
has about 60 yacht-building partners, but this number is set to rise. The yards that have chosen CMC Marine products
include Arcadia Yachts, Admiral, Azimut|Benetti, Baglietto, Cantiere delle Marche, CL Yachts, Codecasa, Conrad Shipyard, Gulf Craft, Marlow Yachts, Moonen, Mulder, Numarine, Overmarine, Palumbo, Rossetti Superyachts, Rossinavi, Sanlorenzo and Sunseeker.

One of the yachts on display at the American boat show is CLB65, the first almost 20 metre yacht designed by US yard CL Yachts, which has chosen CMC Marine’s Waveless stabilization system and fitted the model with the STAB 25 fin stabilizer from the Waveless line. The yacht, which is making its world premiere in Fort Lauderdale, has a fibreglass hull and was designed by naval architect Howard Apollonio to deliver efficiency, high-level performance, and long range.

“Florida, and the North and Central American market as a whole, is an increasingly vibrant area for the yacht industry and taking part in events like this lets us demonstrate and explain our product to potential customers, as well as to build loyalty with our partners, for whom we always try to develop custom solutions,” said Alessandro Cappiello, CEO
and founder of CMC Marine, who added: “This period of the year is packed with events and our aim is to take part in all those we believe to be useful, not least to satisfy a need for dialogue that seems particularly clear to me in the industry at this point in time.”
